Taneja and Touray Win CCAA Men's Doubles Bronze Medal For Second Straight Year
MISSISSAUGA -- For the second straight season, the duo of Arpit Taneja and Ayubu Touray captured the CCAA bronze medal in the men's doubles discipline.
After a rough group stage, the Humber duo was in tough in the semifinal round. The Hawks fell in straight sets to the eventual champions from Seneca College – the same team they lost to in the OCAA title match.
Looking to win the program's sixth straight national medal in men's doubles, Touray and Taneja took the first set off Concordia, 21-8.
After a service fault cost the Hawks the second set, Humber responded in the third with a dominating 21-17 victory to capture the bronze medal.
