Rowe, Kumar Earn Humber Student-Athlete of the Week Honours
ETOBICOKE – Another successful season for Humber badminton has resulted in Chloe Rowe and Ramnish Kumar receiving their second Humber Athletics Student-Athlete of the Week honours for the week of Mar. 2 to Mar. 8.

Chloe Rowe and partner Susanna Quach rolled through nationals to win the 2020 CCAA Women's Badminton National Championship. For Rowe, it was her fourth straight national title - with four different partners - and she became the first female student-athlete in Humber history win four national titles.

After a gruelling three days of competition, Ramnish Kumar captured the 2020 CCAA Men's Badminton silver medal. Kumar and OCAA rival Pranav Satheesh went the distance in the final, with Satheesh squeaking out the third set victory, 22-20.
Kumar became the first player in program history to capture two CCAA medals in the men's singles discipline.
