In his final season with Humber baseball, Steven Hough cemented his legacy as the greatest postseason pitcher in program history. The crafty veteran helped the Hawks successfully defend their provincial title, and was named the 2019 championship MVP.

Hough threw a complete-game shutout in his first appearance of the tournament, securing a spot for the Hawks in the OCAA championship final. Then, on short rest, Hough returned to the mound in the winner-take-all final, facing the Durham lineup for the second time in less than 20 hours. The Toronto native was dominant once again, throwing six solid innings, allowing two runs on six hits to earn his second win of the championship.

In six career OCAA postseason appearances, Hough ends his career with a 6-0 record, throwing 32 innings with an ERA of 0.66 and WHIP of 0.94.
