NATIONAL PLAYER OF THE YEAR CAPTURES ANOTHER CCAA TITLE
NANAIMO, BRITISH COLUMBIA: Two-time CCAA National Player of the Year Olivia Lei captured her second consecutive CCAA Women's Singles Gold Medal on Saturday afternoon in Nanaimo, BC. She defeated her PACWEST opponent by surprisingly tight scores of 21-7, 21-14.
Lei did not lose a set all tournament, and the 14 points she surrendered in the second set was the most she gave up all weekend. In fact, she has not lost a set in her national and provincial career.
She shared in OCAA 1's win of the CCAA Team Supremacy title.
