DONG & CHOW CAPTURE CCAA MEN’S DOUBLES GOLD
NANAIMO, BRITISH COLUMBIA: The Men's Doubles team of Adam Dong and Ryan Chow are the 2016 CCAA National Men's Doubles Badminton champions.
The duo won in two straight sets, by very tight scores of 21-17 and 21- . This match proved to the toughest of the tournament, as the pair from PACWEST (British Columbia) battled throughout. In fact, the 17 point effort was the most the Hawks gave up all weekend. PACWEST also ran out to a 5-1 lead in the second.
This is Adam's second consecutive CCAA Gold Medal, while Ryan got his first taste of national gold after a bronze last year.
Both players shared in OCAA 1's win of the CCAA Team Supremacy title.
