HAWKS TRAVEL TO WINDSOR FOR OPEN BADMINTON TOURNAMENT
WINDSOR, ON: The Humber Hawks men's and women's badminton teams will head down Highway 401 to Windsor, to play in an open badminton co-hosted by St. Clair College. An open tournament is one where anyone can play, and as it is not limited to OCAA players. This fact potentially raises the level of play throughout each discipline.
The Hawks will be sending a quality squad, less CCAA Women's Singles National Champion Olivia Lei. CCAA Mixed Doubles National Champ Adam Dong and CCAA Men's Singles National Silver Medalist Jesse Assing will both be competing.
Humber will provide participants in four of the five disciplines, choosing to not take part in mixed doubles.
