ETOBICOKE, ON: Melanie Evens, the long serving Certified Athletic Therapist in Humber's Sports Therapy Clinic has been named the Manager, Student Athletic Therapy and Wellness.

With the departure of Manager Athletics/Sports Information Jim Bialek, the department realigned and established this new position.

Melanie will continue to provide the best in athletic therapy to the hundreds of Humber Varsity athletes, and she will also bring together "all-things" wellness currently in play in Humber Athletics. This will include overseeing the Fitness & Wellness program headed by Leanne Henwood-Adam, and the High Performance Centre for varsity athletes, which is led by Teresa Arnini.

"Melanie's skill set and experience goes far beyond that of athletic therapy, and everyone at Humber will benefit as we look to build on the institution's mandate to provide the best of wellness on campus for all students and staff," said Humber Director of Athletics Ray Chateau.
