HAWKS TO CLOSE OUT REGULAR SEASON ON SATURDAY AT HOME

ETOBICOKE, ON: Looking to continue their hot play, Humber returns home for their last home date of the season against Durham College on Saturday. The Hawks (12-4 1st OCAA) come into after their doubleheader against Seneca sitting atop the OCAA standings. Humber takes on a Durham squad that is 10-6 (3rd OCAA) so far this season. First pitches are slated at 1:00 and 3:30pm on Saturday at Connervale Park.

Last time out vs Durham

In their last meeting, the Hawks strike early off Durham left-hander Brodie Harkness. The Hawks scored a run in the top of the first on Max Elofson's RBI single scoring Justin Marra from third. From there another veteran for the Hawks, Brendan Lyons took to the hill and limited the Lords offense to two runs over his 5.1 innings. The offense for the Hawks would pick up a run in the fourth and three runs in both the sixth and seventh innings. Lefty Jacob Linhares, came in to shut the door out of the 'pen to secure his first save of the year and more importantly the win for the Hawks. Offensive standouts include; Keegan Murphy (2-5, 3 RBI's), Andrew Thomson (2-4 with a double), Brandon Costa (3-4 with an RBI).
