ETOBICOKE, ON: Rolling on all cylinders, the Hawks go on the road as they travel to play the Fanshawe Falcons and St. Clair Saints, respectively this weekend. Humber (6-2 2nd OCAA) takes on Fanshawe (5-5 3rd OCAA) on Saturday, and St. Clair (8-2 1st OCAA) on Sunday. In the past, Humber is 3-1 playing at Fanshawe and 1-7 at St. Clair all-time. Currently, the Hawks are 2-0 and 1-1 in their season series' with Fanshawe and St. Clair.

Last time out vs Fanshawe
In their previous meeting the Hawks were looking to extend their win streak to three and sweep the home half of their season series. Entrusted with getting Humber the sweep of their double header, they leaned on right-hander Rory Pollard for his first start of the season. Pollard, the Hawks single season leader in strikeouts would be hit hard in his outing as he allowed eight hits over his three innings of work and allowing five runs (all earned). This would put the Hawks in a hole early down 4-1 heading to the bottom of the second where they would respond with four of their own to take a brief 5-4 lead. Fanshawe would tie the game up in the third inning, and that would end Pollard's day. Tyler Greenwood came on in the fourth inning and got out of a jam before cruising the rest of his outing. The story though of this game was the offense as Keegan Murphy led the offense as he went 3-4 with three extra base hits and five RBI's. Justin Marra in the fifth hit a two-man shot off the light pole at Connervale Park, and finished with three RBI's. Dei Bannning (2), Sutherland (2), and Hahnfeld all tallied RBI's as well. Each member of the Hawks starting nine reached base in the game. Hawks win 15-5 in six innings.

Last time out vs St. Clair
In their last meeting, Humber was coming off a 7-2 loss to the hands of the Saints in game one of their double header. Looking to salvage a split on home turf, Head Coach Denny Berni turned to veteran right-hander Steven Hough who has a good career record against the Saints. The veteran would not disappoint as Hough threw a gem holding the mighty St. Clair offense to only one hit in a complete game effort on the bump. Hough now has two complete games, 11 hits, 10 strikeouts, allowing two runs over his 14 innings of work against St. Clair. Offensively, Sutherland was once again the hitting star, as he was on base three times, with two hits and a hit by pitch, and scoring twice. Minnesota native Max Elofson had a perfect day at the plate, chipping in with two walks and a base hit. As the Hawks defeat the Saints 6-0.
Scouting St. Clair
- St. Clair comes into action after a split with Fanshawe this past Saturday.
- Saints are averaging just over seven runs for per game, and allowing just over one and a half runs per game.
- St. Clair has been exceptional at home this season going 4-0, scoring 31 runs and allowing just four in their four games at Lacasse Park.

Following their road trip this weekend, the Hawks will travel to Christie Pits in Toronto on Tuesday to play George Brown College. First pitches are slated for 6:00pm and 8:00pm.
