Last time out vs St. Clair

In their last meeting, Humber looked to beat St. Clair for the first time since the 2013 season. Head Coach Denny Berni sent first-year right hander Rory Pollard to the bump to take on the mighty St. Clair offense. Pollard was hit hard through the first three innings, plating four runs and was lifted in favour of right hander Blake Weston in the fourth. The Humber offense took advantage of the Saints pitching, as they had played six games in four days, scoring three runs in both the second and third inning before St. Clair ace Kyle Breitner came in to shut down the Hawks. Weston and Breitner went pitch for pitch, as they stifled the opposing offenses. St. Clair plated a run in the sixth to make it a one run game, but couldn't come back from the early deficit as the Hawks defeated the Saints, 6-5.
