ETOBICOKE, ON: After back to back series sweeps for Humber, they return home for a home and home set against Seneca College on Saturday. The Hawks (10-4) come into action on a four game winning streak and sitting atop the OCAA standings. Humber takes on a Seneca squad that is 2-8 (5th OCAA) so far this season. First pitches are slated at 1:00 and 3:30pm on Saturday at Connervale Park.

Last time out vs Seneca
In their last meeting, Humber was looking to salvage a season series split with Seneca and hold the tie-breaker. The Hawks turned to rookie sensation Rory Pollard to get the boys the series split as he took to the bump to start for Humber. Pollard was dominant throughout his outing, as he mixed speeds with his assortment of pitches and attacked the Sting hitters early and often in the count. Through his five innings of work, Pollard allowed one run on three hits, a walk and collected seven punch outs. In the sixth he passed the ball to fellow right-handers Blake Weston and Francis Toribio, who both tossed an inning each and collected two strikeouts in their outings. Offensively, the bats came out early to set the tone against the Sting, plating five runs in the second inning. The Hawks would plate a run in the fourth, and three more in the sixth to continue their offensive onslaught. Matt Stoddart and Blake Kauer had a double a piece, while Brandon Costa (2), Andrew Thomson, Blake Kauer and Aaron Arbic-Cohen all picked up RBIs in the winning effort. Humber wins 9-1.
