Last time out vs Durham

In their last meeting, the Hawks looked to ensure the second spot in the OCAA ahead of the playoff round. Manager Denny Berni turned to one of his more reliable arms in RHP Steven Hough. Hough was dominant on the bump tossing seven innings of two run ball, both runs coming in the 7th and final inning. On the other side Lords manager Sam Dempster turned to his ace LHP Brodie Harkness to try and stop the hot Humber offense. Harkness was less than stellar allowing five runs over his 3.2 innings as he struggled with command of his pitches. Hawks offensive standouts included outfielders Brandon Manley and Andrew Thomson who collected two hits each with an RBI and set the table at the top of the order. Hawks would soar past the Lords 6-2.
