HAWKS TO PLAY GEORGE BROWN ON FAMILIAR FIELD
ETOBICOKE, Ontario: The Humber Hawks women's soccer team, looking to respond to their only loss of the season a few days ago, will actually play an away game against George Brown on Saturday on the Hawks home field at Centennial Park Stadium.
Both George Brown and Humber call Centennial Park Stadium home. It is one of the finest facilities in all of Ontario.
George Brown is mired at the bottom of the west division standings at 0-4-1, while the Hawks are battling for top spot in the division.
The Huskies have been unable to create any type of attack offensively and sit with only one goal for. Defence has been a struggle as well, as they surrendered nineteen goals in five games.
Humber is also offensively challenged, averaging just a notch above one goal a game for. On the other side of the ball they are tough, playing stingy defence game in, and game out.
The Hawks need to win this game should they want to continue the challenge for a division title.
