VAUGHAN, Ont – The No. 1 Humber men's soccer team (6-0, 1st Central) will look to extend its unbeaten streak Wednesday against the Conestoga Condors (0-6-1, 6th Central), with kick-off set for 6:30 p.m.  The match will be streamed live on HSN2.

The Opening Kickoff

  • Humber boasts the highest scoring offence in the province and is averaging 3.83 goals-per-game.
  • With four goals against this season, the Hawks have matched their total from last season.
  • Humber is the only team that features two scorers ranked in the top five in the OCAA. Luca Baldassarre (2nd) has seven goals, while All-Canadian Jaineil Hoilett (5th) has six.

Last Time Out
The Hawks finished the road portion of their schedule Saturday against division rival Sheridan Bruins (4-2, 3rd Central).  Two quick goals from Claudio Sereno gave Humber a 2-0 lead at the half. 

The Bruins were able to tie the game in the 75th on a penalty kick but Tomasz Balicki broke the stalemate 11 minutes later, helping the Hawks improve to 7-1-2 against Sheridan since 2012.

Scouting No. 1 Humber
Humber currently sits first in the OCAA central division at 6-0, including 1-0 at home.  Luca Baldassarre leads the Hawks with seven goals, while seven other Hawks have recorded a tally this season.

Scouting Conestoga
At 0-6-1, the Condors feature the second-lowest scoring offence in the league, averaging 0.29 goals-per-game.  On the other side of the ball, Conestoga has the 15th ranked defence and has allowed 20 goals in seven matches.

Last Meeting
At Conestoga, the Hawks scored a season-high eight goals in an 8-0 win.  Rookie keeper Nick Frenati picked up his first career clean sheet, while Jaineil Hoilett scored a game-high two goals.
