OAKVILLE, Ont – The rivalry between No. 1 Humber men's soccer (5-0 1st Central) and the Sheridan Bruins (4-1, 2nd Central) continues this Saturday at Sheridan Field.
The Opening Kickoff
- The Hawks continue to boast one of the top backfields in the province, led by three-time OCAA Defensive Player of the Year Kingsley Boasiako. Humber's defence has allowed 21 shots on goal in five matches thus far.
- With two goals against George Brown, Luca Baldassarre moved into second in the league with seven tallies.
- Eugenio Garro and Nick Frenati have combined for three clean sheets this season.
Last Time Out
In a tough road matchup, the Hawks blanked the No. 9 George Brown Huskies (3-1-1, 3rd Central), 3-0, at Birchmount Stadium. Freshman Nick Frenati turned aside nine shots for his second shutout of the season. Tomasz Balicki scored his second goal of the season, establishing a new career-high.

Michael Aquino returns for his fourth season as the head coach of the Humber men's soccer program. The 2017 CCAA Coaching Excellence Award recipient has led the Hawks to three national championships, three provincial championships, and an overall record of 56-2-4.
