NORTH YORK, Ont -- Coming off a week to reenergize and mentally prepare for what is ahead, Humber travels to Seneca to begin their stretch of eight games in six days. Humber (10-6, 3rd OCAA), takes on a Seneca squad (3-15, 7th OCAA) that has improved since last season. With a sweep of Seneca, the Hawks would inch closer to clinching a playoff spot at this year's OCAA championship held by Humber at the Brampton Fairground October 20-21st.

Last time out vs Seneca
In their last meeting, Humber was looking to improve to 2-0 on the young season. To do so, head coach Duaine Bowles turned to his ace, Myranda Pierson to toe the rubber in game two. In this outing, Pierson was her usual self, dominating the Sting hitters all throughout her outing. Pierson would end her outing going seven strong innings, allowing no runs on two hits, and five punch outs. Offensively, Jenna Hillman continued her strong start to the 2017 campaign picking up two hits and two RBIs. Kate Kostuch would pick up two hits, both Kostuch and Sarah Franchetto picked up doubles in the game and scoring a run. Hawks win 4-0.
