HAWKS MEN'S GOLF EARN FOURTH PLACE AT BUCKNELL INVITATIONAL

LEWISBERG, PA: The Humber Hawks men's golf team traveled to Pennsylvania on Friday to compete in the Bucknell University Invitational. The tournament was scheduled for two rounds on Saturday and the third on Sunday, but Round 2 has been rained out.

After the first round, the Hawks sat in third place but dropped back to a fourth place tie when the event concluded.

Wil Gavarkovs, who led the Hawks and sat in third place on the individual board, also dropped back from his opening round 70 to a 73. This mark still him atop the Humber leaderboard, but tied for forth overall.

Mike Vance made the biggest jump of any player in the event, as after he carded an 80 in the first round, he responded with tournament best 68. This moved him into a 20th place tie, from his originally placement of 39th.
