BARRETT MCCARTHY WINS RED FLASH INVITATIONAL, HAWKS FINISH THIRD
The Men's Golf Team, winners of nine straight Provincial Championships, wrapped up the third and final round of the Red Flash Invitational on Tuesday afternoon.
Barrett McCarthy, a second year Hawk and OCAA Academic All-Star, took the top spot by two strokes after his final round 73 gave him a 54-hole score of +2. Willl Gavarkos finished fifteenth at +13, All-Ontario Team member Cole Kent came twenty-second with a score of +20, and Mike Crapper finished twenty-fifth at +21.
The Hawks rallied for a podium finish as a team, with their combined score of 892 good for third.
