HAWKS MEN TO PLAY FOR CCAA NATIONAL GOLD IN FREDERICTON, NEW BRUNSWICK

ETOBICOKE, ON: The Humber Hawks men's curling team, winners of CCAA National gold in 2016, will look to get back on the podium this year. The 2019 CCAA National Curling Championships will begin on Thursday, March 15/19 and continue through to March 19/19, at Willie O'Ree Place in Fredericton.

The Hawks dropped a tight OCAA title game to Fanshawe a few short weeks ago, but have had a terrific season to date.

Freshly back from the 2019 Brier in Brandon, Manitoba, head coach Sean Turriff will lead the team.

Humber features a veteran-laden squad, with Sean Armstrong at the helm as the skip.

The Hawks will open Friday at 11:30 am (est) vs Alberta's Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT).
