UNDERMANNED HAWKS MEN’S CURLERS DROP SEMI-FINAL TO FANSHAWE
HAMILTON, ON: The Humber Hawks men's curling team, down to three players due to a player ejection for a uniform issue, have been relegated to the OCAA bronze medal game on Sunday morning. The Hawks, who finished second in the standings after pool play, were defeated 5-2 by the Fanshawe Falcons.
Humber had knocked off Fanshawe by the same 5-2 score on the opening day in round-robin play.
After falling behind 2-0 early, the Hawks could not scratch their way back into contention.
The bronze medal game is set for 9:00 am on Sunday morning, with Thunder Bay's Confederation College providing the opposition.
