Gomes, Dube earn Humber Student-Athlete of the Week honours
For the final instalment of 2022, Alexandria Dube and Jake Gomes have earned Humber Athletics Student-Athlete of the Week honours for the week of Nov. 28 to Dec. 4.

No. 2 Humber finished the first half of the OCAA season with a 3-0 sweep of the Sheridan Bruins at the North Campus Gym. Alexandria Dube tied for a match-high with ten points in the sweep, including seven kills and three services aces. Her seven kills came on 16 swings for a hitting percentage of 0.438.
In six matches, Dube sits second on the squad with a 0.45 service ace per set average.
For Dube, it's her first Humber Athlete of the Week selection.

Senior Jake Gomes recorded his fourth career double-double, finishing with 22 assists and ten digs in Humber's straight-set sweep of Sheridan on Thursday night.
Already Humber's all-time leader in service aces, Gomes finished the match tying his season-high with seven and now sits with 144 - the fourth-most in OCAA history. The Oakville native now sits 24 aces away from second all-time.
For Gomes, it's his second Humber Athlete of the Week selection.
