
Koziolek, Murphy earn Humber Athlete of the Week honours
Softball centre fielder Hannah Koziolek and baseball two-way player Aidan Murphy have earned Humber Athletics Student-Athlete of the Week honours for the week of Sept. 5-11.

Playing in her fourth season for Humber softball, Hannah Koziolek played an integral role in Humber's 4-0 start. Koziolek has an incredible slash line of .500/571/1.333 to start the year, and against Lambton, she became Humber softball's all-time stolen base leader.
In Sunday's win over Sheridan, the Brampton native finished 3-for-4 from the dish, driving in seven runs - establishing a new program single-game record.

Making his first pitching appearance for the Hawks since 2018, Aidan Murphy toed the rubber against Lambton, throwing the sixth no-hitter in program history. The big righty fired five shutout frames, striking out ten batters and issuing three walks.
The next day against St. Clair, Murphy belted a solo shot out of Lacasse Park, sparking the come-from-behind victory for the Hawks against the Saints.
