Kaye, Puntillo earn Humber Student-Athlete of the Week honours
After a successful weekend at the 2022 OCAA Curling Championships in Sault Ste. Marie, Meaghan Mallett, Jessica Byers, Matthew Garner, and Zack Shurtleff have earned Humber Athletics Student-Athlete of the Week honours for the week of Feb. 14-21.

Kiara Puntillo was exceptional this week at nationals, earning a spot on the CCAA all-tournament team. In four matches, Puntillo and Humber's backline only surrendered one tally, as the Hawks finished fifth in the country - its highest finish since 2010.
For Puntillo, it's her first Humber Athlete of the Week selection.

Damion Kaye and the Hawks successfully defended their national title, defeating the Seneca Sting in the final, 2-1. Kaye was named to the championship all-tournament team after he recorded four tallies in three matches at the big dance. His four goals tied Humber legend Adolfo Mella for the second-most goals in a tournament.
After recording 10 tallies during the regular season, Kaye added nine more in six matches during the postseason.
For Kaye, it's his second Humber Athlete of the Week selection this year.
