ETOBICOKE, ON: The Humber Hawks women's volleyball team, the number two ranked team in the nation, will take to center court at the Humber Athletic Centre for the last time this season, as they host London's Fanshawe Falcons on Saturday afternoon.

LAST TIME OUT VS FANSHAWE
The two teams met in November at London, with the visiting Hawks taking the match in three straight sets (25-11, 25-17, 25-16). The usual suspects were the higher contributors for Humber on this afternoon. Devan O'Connor and Breanna Golding led the team with 12 points each. O'Connor also reached double digits in kills, with 10. No Falcon was able to score more than five offensive points in the game.
SCOUTING FANSHAWE
- The Falcons are a much different team than the one who played to 4-5 start before the break. They went on a five game winning streak, but lost to Niagara on the road Thursday night. They have all but secured a playoff spot
- The key to the team's turnaround is the post-holiday addition of outside hitter Meghan Morelli. In the four matches played, she has vaulted to the top of the Falcons scoring list with a mark of 6.0 points per set average
- As a team, they boast a strong attack (11.09 kills per set, 1st)
- With a pair of setters scoring high, they are third in the OCAA, with 468 assists
HAWK NOTES
- Humber is 25-1 all-time in regular season games against Fanshawe
- Elizabeth Deakin-Poot raised her kill percentage to a team high .480
- Devan O'Connor and Breanna Golding are flirting with the 4.0 points per set mark, as they check in with averages of 3.98 and 3.92, respectively
- Hawks continue to lead the league in kill percentage and aces per set
RECORD WATCH
- The Hawks have won 124 consecutive OCAA league and playoff games
- Fifth year middle Alley Newman has moved from fifth to fourth all-time at Humber in blocks (111), but is unlikely to get the 20 over the last four games to move to number three on the list
- Head Coach Chris Wilkins currently sits in third place of all-time Hawk coaching wins with 310 victories, and only trails his brother Wayne (men's volleyball coach) by two and the overall leader Mike Katz (318) by nine.
