HAWKS HEAD TO WINDSOR IN LONGEST ROAD TRIP OF SEASON

WINDSOR, ON: The Humber Hawks women's volleyball team will leave on Friday afternoon and travel to Windsor for a Saturday afternoon battle with the St. Clair Saints.

LAST TIME OUT VS ST. CLAIR

Humber entertained St. Clair near the close of the first semester, on December 4, and were the beneficiaries of play a Saints team that played less than 24 hours earlier at Sheridan. The Hawks rolled somewhat unscathed through the match, winning 25-14, 25-17, 25-17. Devan O'Connor and Breanna Golding led the Hawks in scoring, with 13 and 11 points, respectively. St. Clair placed no players in double digits, as Kaila Crough led them with 7 points.

SCOUTING ST.CLAIR

  • The Saints have already booked their ticket to the final eight play-downs, as they will be the host for the 2017 OCAA Championships, but finishing the year out well would provide them with a higher seed in the play-offs
  • They are at or near the top ten in many team statistical categories, but rank very high in aces (128, 4th) and aces per set (3.12, 2nd)
  • Kaila Crough leads the team in scoring with a league 5th best mark of 3.9 points per set
  • Setter Madison Trotter is 6th in assists per set (6.93) and 13th overall in total assists (208)
