2016 HUMBER VARSITY HALL OF FAME INDUCTEE - CONNIE TAMBURELLO

CONNIE TAMBURELLO
Athlete

Women's Outdoor & Indoor Soccer: 2004-2006, 2007-2009, 2010-2011

Connie was an offensive threat every time she stepped on the field, the one player opposing coaches had to change their own game to try and defend. And, ultimately the Hawks became a more dominant team because the visiting teams focus was all on a single individual. She scored 25 goals on the outdoor pitch, winning the division scoring title on two occasions. She was just as much as a threat on the indoor field, perhaps even more effective. Her last year as a Hawk was special, as the team took OCAA Provincial gold and CCAA National bronze, with her being named as a CCAA All Canadian. She went on to serve as an assistant coach with the program for a few years.

The 2016 Humber Varsity Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will take place on Friday, September 23, 2016 at Humber College's North Campus. Please join Connie as she is recognized for an incredible career.
