Men's Basketball: 1992-1996
Mark is as key a player as there was in the incredible run of CCAA appearances and national crowns for the Hawks men's basketball teams of the 90's. He won OCAA titles in each of the four years he played with the Hawks, and three CCAA national medals - two of them gold. He is the person who epitomized the defensive specialist position, a term used freely today but not truly defined in his era. He was given the task of guarding the top offensive player on the opposing team, no matter what position that player played. Although his offensive numbers may have been limited due to his commitment to defence, he was recognized as an all-star in OCAA and CCAA competition. The Humber coaches and his teammates, and more importantly the visiting teams, knew the impact Mark had on the game.
The 2016 Humber Varsity Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will take place on Friday, September 23, 2016 at Humber College's North Campus. Please join Mark as he is recognized for an incredible career.
