Allen Headlines CCAA FIFA20 Gaming Challenge Semifinal Round
With the cancellation of the 2020-21 varsity season, the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) introduced the FIFA20 Gaming Challenge. Available on PS4 and XBOX One, the CCAA FIFA20 Gaming Challenge began Oct. 27 with players across the CCAA membership competing in regular-season matchups.
On the XBOX side of the tournament, Humber soccer's Leaford Allen finished the regular season slate with a 9-2-4 record, finishing third in the standings. The 2019 OCAA Men's Soccer Player of the Year and division scoring champion has advanced to the semifinal round and will face Alec Bayne from Langara College tonight at 9 p.m. ET. The match will be streamed live on Twitch, with the winner advancing to the finals at 10 p.m.
The semifinal round consists of two games (home and away) and the winner will be determined by aggregate score. The top prize for the winner is a customized ring, provided by Jostens.
