Defending National Champions Release Open Tryout Dates

ETOBICOKE, Ont -- The Humber Hawks men's soccer team will host open tryouts for the 2019 squad in August, as indicated by the dates provided below. Head coach Michael Aquino will enter his seventh season at the helm and has led the Hawks to four national titles, with a career record of 76-4-6 (.919).

All full-time Humber and Guelph-Humber students at all campuses are eligible to participate in the tryouts. If you are interested in playing varsity soccer, please fill out the prospective student-athlete online registration form to provide us with more information about your athletic background.

Due to the fact that the tryouts are progressive in nature, prospective players may or may not be invited to additional tryouts or exhibition games after they have attended the first tryout. It is highly recommended that any players wishing to gain a spot on the squad should make themselves available to attend as many workouts as possible, starting with day one.

Also, come to camp in playing shape, as the tryout process is streamlined with the season beginning very quickly after the opening day of school.

Additional tryouts and exhibition games may be added to the tryout process.

Registration will take place from 1 p.m. to 1:40 p.m. at the field, and only those who register can participate at the tryout.
