Women's Volleyball: 2008-2013
Nina Carino, simply put, was a champion. In her five years as a Humber Hawk, she won five OCAA championship crowns. During this tenure, the Hawks women's volleyball team amassed an OCAA league and play-off record of 111 wins and just 2 losses, which is an amazing winning percentage of 98.23. As the floor general at the setter position, she was recognized as an all-star on every stage possible. She was a four time OCAA league all-star, a three time OCAA championship all-star and named a CCAA championship all-star in the 2011-12 campaign. Diminutive in physical size at 5' 5", she played well above this stature, as she served aces, passed extremely well and led the most powerful offences in Humber history.
The 2016 Humber Varsity Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will take place on Friday, September 23, 2016 at Humber College's North Campus. Please join Nina as she is recognized for an incredible career.
