
HAWKS EXTEND LEAD WITH FINAL ROUND COMING FRIDAY
CHILLIWACK, BC: The Humber Hawks women's golf team, four strokes in front after Round One, held steady for the most part in Round Two and when the dust cleared moved into a ten stroke lead.
In what was a challenging day for all golfers in Round Two, the Hawks led all teams with a score of +17. The next best score was +20 by UBC Okanagan. In fact, UBC took over second place from Georgian. The OCAA Georgian Grizzlies are now 13 back of the Hawks, after being just 4 back after day one.
Sonia Nagindas moved up to second on the individual leaderboard and sits five strokes back of the lead. Michaela DiMarcantonio of the Hawks actually had a better day, at +9, and noe sits in six place.
The third and final round is slated for Friday.
