SIX HUMBER SOCCER PLAYERS TO REPRESENT CANADA IN FRIENDLY

MISSISSAUGA, Ont – Six Humber Hawks will be donning the red and white tomorrow when they suit up for Team Canada in an international arena soccer friendly against Team USA. Kickoff for the match is scheduled for 3 p.m. at the Hershey Centre.

Five Humber alumni – Daniel Chamale, Josh Paredes-Procter, Jacob Orellana, Augustin De Medina, and Lerohne Young – will join returning Hawk Stavros Badunas on the pitch for Canada. Badunas is returning to Humber after helping the Hawks capture the provincial championship in 2011.

Team Canada is led by soccer superstar Dwayne De Rosario, who scored four goals in a 10-9 overtime victory against Brazil. De Rosario is a four-time Canadian player of the year and sits sixth all-time in MLS scoring history.
