HAWKS SOAR TO VICTORY AT GANNON U (NCAA 2) IN ERIE
ERIE, PA: The Humber Hawks men's golf team, playing in their spring opener, defeated all challengers on their way to the team title at the Gannon University Spring Invitational Golf Tournament on Saturday.
This is the first of a number of events the Hawks will taking part in, as they prepare for the 2018 Golf Canada University/College Golf Championships being held in June, in British Columbia.
Humber will now travel down the road to paly in the Mercyhurst Invitational on Sunday and Monday in North East, PA.
Conner Watt and Luke McLean led the team with matching scores of 75. They placed in a fifth tie in the iindividual standings.
Alleghany was second, just a shot behind at 304. The host Gannon squad grabbed bronze, with a team mark or 313.
