HAWKS MEN TAKE AIM AT TITLE AFTER EXTENDING LEAD TO 19

SAULT STE. MARIE, ON: The Humber Hawks men's golf team are poised to return to the top of the podium after extending their team lead to 19 strokes after Day 2 at the 2017 OCAA  Golf Championships.

Humber, who held a 10 stroke lead over Fanshawe after Day 1, almost doubled that lead, and now have seen the Durham Lords creep past Fanshawe for second place. The third and final round is slated for Wednesday at the Crimson Ridge Golf Course in Sault Ste. Marie.

Humber saw some great individual performances on the day, led by individual leader Conner Watt and his even round of 72. Cameron Brennan has made a dash up the leader board, seeing his two-over 74 on the day vault him into a second place tie overall.

As mentioned above, Watt leads the way, and holds a two stroke margin. He is one over par for the event, with scores of 73 and 72.
