The Storyline
The Hawks are in pursuit of the program's eighth national championship, beginning with the Capilano Blues in the quarter-final round.
Last Time Out
Humber won the OCAA silver medal on March 2, falling to the Durham Lords at home, 67-61. It was the program's 37th medal.
Scouting Capilano
- The Blues won the PACWEST title, defeating the VIU Mariners 75-70 in the gold medal game.
- Damein Coleman was named the PACWEST Defensive Player of the Year.

The Field
The Vanier Cheetahs and Briercrest Clippers are on the same bracket as the Hawks. On the other side are the UNBSJ Seawolves, Durham Lords, Keyano Huskies, and the Brebeuf Dynamiques.
Postseason Dreamin'
The Hawks are 17-6 all-time in the CCAA quarter-final round. Last season Humber opened the tournament with a 47-point victory over MSVU - the largest CCAA win in program history.
Previous Meeting
Humber opened the 2022 CCAA national championship with a 10-point win over Capilano, 88-78. Frank Mitchell finished with 18 points and 24 rebounds, while Kevin Otoo and DeQuon Cascart finished with 19 points, each.

A win will put the Hawks in the semifinal round on March 12 at 8:30 pm against the winner of the Vanier/Briercrest quarter-final.
