OAKVILLE, ON: As the Fall sports come to an end, the Winter sports begin to take flight. Humber's men's volleyball season has gotten a facelift and will debut their new squad in the regular season this Saturday at 8 p.m. at Sheridan College.
Humber continues to rebuild after an early exit at the OCAA Tournament. The Hawks finished as the West Division's second seed in the regular season while Sheridan wasn't too far away in the standings with an 11-7 stat. Since both teams have a clean slate, it's up to Sheridan to jump on Humber in a similar way to last season when the Bruins won their first match against Humber 3-2. The Hawks had to wait until January to redeem themselves against Sheridan with 3-1 win over the Bruins.
With so much still left unknown, time will only tell how far the Hawks can go this year. But it starts in Brampton with their closest rival.
