MEN’S VOLLEYBALL ANNOUNCE THE ADDITION OF NATHAN MURDOCK

The Humber Hawks Men's Volleyball Team, winners of three of the past six OCAA Titles, are pleased to announce the addition of Outside Hitter Nathan Murdock. He will be joining a squad that is already among the provinces most potent, and the former Jamaican National Team member should be an impactful addition for a program that went 13-5 last year.

Murdock boasts back-to-back All-Star Awards in the 2010 and 2011 season playing at Mississauga Secondary High School, as well as three Provincial Titles and one National Championship with Team Ontario. He was with the Provincial Team for two seasons, and Team Jamaica for one. The Mississauga native played five years with the powerhouse Pakmen Program, and his already impressive resume bodes well for the type of player Humber is getting.

Nathan's decision to attend Humber was largely due to the programs strong history and trust he has in the coaching staff. In his freshmen year, Murdock sees himself helping the team in whatever way he can; his mindset is to dominate every time he steps on the court. Attacking and blocking are his two biggest strengths, and he plans to focus on improving his passing and defensive game this upcoming year.

Murdock has enrolled in the General Arts & Science program, and can't wait for training camp to get started in July. With the Volleyball Program hungry for a bounce back year and expecting internal improvement along with a strong incoming class, 2015-16 is shaping up to be a big year for one of Ontario's best.
