HAWKS THOMSON NAMED OCAA BASEBALL ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
TORONTO, ON: Third-year outfielder Andrew Thomson (Brampton) had the hit of his season in Humber's 11-9 win over Fanshawe on Oct. 1. Trailing 9-7 in Humber's last at bat, Thomson belted a grand slam for the walk-off 11-7 victory.
Humber followed this up with a 5-3 win in Game 2 of the doubleheader. Thomson went 4-for-7, scoring two runs while driving in five over the two games. It was two key wins as Humber improved to 5-5
