OCAA GOLF SEASON BEGINS SATURDAY
LONDON, Ont -- The Humber golf program begins the 2017 OCAA season this Saturday at the Fanshawe Golf Invitational. The Falcons are hosting the single-day tournament at the gorgeous FireRock Golf Club, designed by Tom McBroom.
The challenging par-72 championship design measures 5,672-yards from the forward White tees, and a very demanding 7,183-yards from the tips.
Fresh off two consecutive national medals, the no. 2 women's golf team enters the 2017 season looking to continue their winning ways. Sheila McKeen returns for her fourth season and will be looking to win a third individual provincial medal.
On the men's side, the no. 9 Hawks will get back on the course looking to see who will fill the shoes of captain Christian McCullough, a two-time All-Canadian. Humber will also put its unprecedented OCAA medal streak on the line season, one that spans 21 years.
