Michael McAlpine named 2023 Humber Rookie of the Week
ETOBICOKE - Joining Humber volleyball as a highly touted recruit, Michael McAlpine worked his way into the starting lineup and never looked back. The big lefty finished the season leading the team in kills and points-per-set and earned himself a spot on the conference all-rookie squad.
During Humber's postseason run, McAlpine scored double-digits in six matches as the Hawks finished on the national and provincial podiums.
On the biggest stage, in front of a sold-out crowd, the Belleville native finished with a match-high 13 points in the CCAA gold medal match.
