HAWKS HOST SENECA IN REGULAR SEASON FINALE

HAWKS HOST SENECA IN REGULAR SEASON FINALE

ETOBICOKE, ON: Sitting in first in the OCAA rankings, the Hawks soccer team (9-0, 1st OCAA Central Division) will host the Seneca Sting (3-6, 5th OCAA Central Division) in their last game of regular season play on Tuesday evening.

The last time the Hawks and Sting faced each other, the Hawks were dominant, as they have been all season. The Sting came out hard in the first half, giving the Hawks little to no chance for error. As the teams entered the second half, the Hawks came out soaring, capping the final score at 5-0.

Throughout the season, Humber has kept a perfect record winning all eight games. They have managed to score a total of 30 goals for and keep just three goals against. These are some promising stats as they gear up for the upcoming OCAA Provincial Championship tournament at the end of the month.

The men's OCAA Provincial Championship is being held October 27-29 and will be hosted by Redeemer College in Hamilton. This year, Ontario was awarded the wild card seat into the CCAA National Championships, which awards the top two teams in the OCAA birth into the national tournament.

Kick off for Tuesday night is set for 4:30 p.m. at Centennial Park Stadium.

Admission is free of charge and live streaming will be available here.
