HAWKS REBOUND ON SECOND DAY AT U.S. BASED BUCKNELL INVITATIONAL

LEWISBURG, PA: The Humber Hawks men's golf team, led by Connor Watt's impressive round of 69, had a solid day two at the Bucknell University Invitational (NCAA D1). The Hawks moved up from tenth in the team standings to eighth at the end of the two-day event, just 18 strokes away from the tournament champions from Saint Joseph's (PA). Fifteen teams competed in the event, with one being the University of Ottawa from Ontario (9th).

As mentioned above, Connor Watt led day two for the Hawks, and he did the same on day one. His scores of 73 and 69 placed him in a seventh place tie among all players.

The biggest turnaround for a Humber player was made by Will Gavarkovs, as he made up 10 strokes on day 2, going from an 81 to a 71.
