UPDATE: MEN'S GOLF TRYOUT INFORMATION
ETOBICOKE, ON: The Humber Hawks men's golf team, the winningest program in the Ontario Colleges Athletics Association (OCAA), will host an open tryout for the 2016 squad on August 25th.
All full-time Humber and Guelph-Humber students at all campuses with a five handicap or better are eligible to participate in the tryouts. If you are interested in playing varsity golf, please fill out the prospective student-athlete online registration form to provide us with more information about your athletic background.
Due to the fact that the tryouts are progressive in nature, prospective players may or may not be invited to additional tryouts after they have attended the first tryout.
The first tryout date is scheduled for Thursday, August 25th with tee times starting at 7:30am and will be held at Oakdale Golf and Country Club. Due to the fact Oakdale G&CC is a private course; no practice rounds will be scheduled.
The tryout fee will be $60.00 plus taxes.
UPDATE: If you qualify for the second tryout, it will be 36 holes held at Copper Creek Golf Club on August 29th, tee times starting at 7:30am and second round starting at 1:30pm.
