GRANDE PRAIRIE, ON: The Humber Hawks, playing their second match in four hours on Saturday, dropped the 2018 CCAA bronze medal game 3-0 (25-15, 25-20, 25-16) to the defending CCAA champions from Lakeland College in Alberta.

GRANDE PRAIRIE, AL – The No. 3 Humber Hawks women’s volleyball team, playing a consistently solid game throughout, were outmatched by the No. 1 Douglas Royals in the CCAA National Championship semi-finals on Friday night, losing the game in four sets (26-24, 16-25, 23-25, 23-25).

GRANDE PRAIRIE, AL – Rebounding after a heartbreaking semi-final loss Friday night, the No. 3 Humber Hawks women’s volleyball team were triumphant in their CCAA National Championships bronze semi-final matchup Saturday afternoon against the No. 8 Mount Saint Vincent Mystics, winning the game in three sets and advancing to the bronze medal match (25-17, 25-20, 25-21).

GRAND PRAIRIE, AL: The Humber Hawks women's volleyball team return to the CCAA National Bronze Medal game for the third time in the last four years on Saturday night. Their opponent is the CCAA defending champion and number two ranked team from the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC), Lakeland Rustlers. The first serve is set for 8:00 pm (EST). Humber arrived is this game by way of a 3-0 sweep over the Atlantic champions from MSVU. Lakeland secured a similar 3-0 win over Quebec's FX Garneau.

The 2018 belairdirect OCAA Women’s Volleyball Championships wrapped up its second day as the second semifinal match featured another OCAA West showdown. This time, it was between the third seeded St. Clair Saints and the top seeded Humber Hawks.

TORONTO, ON: For the second time this season, Hamilton’s Mohawk Mountaineers almost did something that has not been done in the last 150 OCAA regular season and playoff matches involving the Humber Hawks women’s volleyball team. And, that is knock off the 10-time OCAA champion Hawks. The first was in Hamilton earlier this year, as the Mountaineers ran out to a 2-0 set lead and held a lead in the third and possibly last set. Humber responded to win three straight sets to take the match and keep the streak alive.
