HUMBER ROLLS THROUGH REGIONALS; ADVANCE TO OCAA FINALS

TORONTO, Ont -- The Humber women's indoor soccer team finished at the top of Pool D play Thursday, advancing to the OCAA Championship tournament at Redeemer in two weeks.

The Hawks finished the three-match tournament unbeaten, scoring 20 combined goals.

Humber was led by Shaneice Bennett, who finished with six goals, including four against Lakehead-Orillia. Giulia Zanardi scored five goals, recording a hat trick against Lakehead-Orillia as well.

Rebecca Spratt recorded a hat trick in Humber's win over Confederation, finishing with five tallies, as well. Vanessa Fiore recorded a clean sheet against Confederation, surrendering two goals in three games.
