McCallum Leads Humber Golf to Tournament Title

LONDON – All-Canadian Hayley McCallum kicked off the 2019 golf season with a second-place finish at the difficult FireRock Golf Course on Sept. 14 to help the Hawks capture the team title. Humber carded a round of 162, trimming 25 shots off its round from the year prior.

After shooting 97 at FireRock last year to begin the season, McCallum finished eight over par (80) – including a three-over back nine. Freshman Elaine Surjoprajogo fired a 10-over par (82) in Humber debut, finishing in a tie with All-Canadian Alyssa Stoddart from Fanshawe.

Freshmen Gaby and Jacky Goldshlager rounded out the day for the Hawks, finishing with an 85 and 89, respectively.
