HAWKS NEED SUCCESS AT REGIONALS TO ADVANCE TO OCAA FINAL 8
ETOBICOKE, ON: The Humber Hawks men's indoor soccer team, the most successful squad in league history, will look to advance through regionals this coming Thursday at the new soccer dome at Seneca College.
Should they finish in the top two of their division, they will book their ticket to the upcoming OCAA Championship event. To make this happen, they will look for wins against Seneca, St. Lawrence and Georgian.
SCHEDULE
10:30 am vs Seneca
12:30 pm vs St. Lawrence
2:30 pm vs Georgian
TO DATE
The Hawks have struggled in pre-season play, getting shut out at the University of Guelph tournament and at a few exhibition games.
WHAT THEY NEED TO DO
Two things have to come to the front if the Hawks want to advance. They have to get their complete team together on the same pitch for the first time this year. And, secondly, they need to find a way to score. Defensively, they are very solid, but 0-0 ties will not get them to the next level
