HAWKS CONTINUE PRE-SEASON WITH TOURNAMENT AT UTM
ETOBICOKE, ON: The Humber Hawks badminton team will take to the courts at the University of Toronto – Mississauga campus on Saturday in the second college-based event of the year.
In a unique approach to traditional badminton tournaments, there may be crossover competition between the men's and women's doubles teams. A women's team may play a men's, but start the match with sizable point lead.
Triple Crown winner at the Humber Cup, Chloe Rowe, will be back on the court to represent the Hawks.
Play is to commence in the morning, and the end time is dependent on the number of participants.
