Men's cross country earn bronze medal at provincial championship
THUNDER BAY – The Humber men's cross-country team left Thunder Bay Saturday with a hard-earned bronze medal. Down a runner, the Hawks stepped up as a squad, putting together a gritty and intense race to finish on the podium for the first time since 2016.
The 15-team race featured over 79 athletes, and four of Humber's runners finished in the top-30. Pacing the way for Humber were Mason Biswas and Jaivir Sandhar, who were named second-team all-stars.
The six-kilometre women's race saw the Hawks finish in eighth position, 51 points behind St. Lawrence. All-star Sofia Vozza paced the way for Humber, finishing in 29th.

What's Next?
The men's team will head to Medicine Hat, Alberta, to compete in the 2022 CCAA national championship race on November 12. The Hawks will be looking for their first podium finish since 2014.
