HAWKS TRAVEL ACROSS THE CITY FOR MATCH UP AT SENECA

NORTH YORK, ON: The Humber Hawks women's soccer team, who have burst out of the gates with three wins to start the season, will travel to play the Sting at Seneca College on Saturday evening.

Game time is set for 5:00 pm.

Humber is a freshman laden squad who are coming together as a group very quickly this year. The have scored fifteen goals, while only surrendering two. The closest winning margin of victory was this past Tuesday at home, a 4-1 win over Niagara College.

At press time, Seneca has only had a single match to report, a 1-1 tie with the formidable Sheridan Bruins. Seneca has a tradition of fielding strong women's soccer teams, and this year will be no exception.

Every single goal scored by the Hawks this year have come off the feet of freshmen. Rebecca Spratt leads the way with four, while Zoe Longsworth checks in with three. A trio of Hawks have hit the twine on two occasions.

The defensive side for Humber has also been solid, and is where the majority of the veterans ply their trade, led by Alexandra Giannone and Rachel Spratt. First year Keepers Vanessa Fiore and Taylor Sytsma have been almost flawless.
